Tässä sen nyt on vihdoin valmiina!
Yöunet jäi vähiin ennen näyttelyä, kun oli pakko tehdä viimeisiä yksityiskohtia (vikana yönä nukuin vajaat kaksi tuntia). Silti jäi vaikka mitä puuttumaan. Olisin halunnut tehdä taloon paljon enemmän pieniä yksityiskohtia, mutta aika loppui kesken. Oon kuitenkin ihan tyytyväinen lopputulokseen. Talo näyttää valmiilta ja yleisilmeestä välittyy mielestäni meidän kodin tunnelmaa (tosin pikkutalo on PALJON siistimpi kuin meidän oma). Tuskin ketään muuta kuin minua häiritsee puuttuvat jutut.
Talon rakennus on ollut huikea prosessi ja olen oppinut valtavasti uusia asioita ihan oman tekemisen kautta. Itseluottamusta ja rohkeutta on tullut tosi paljon lisää. Aikataulu on toiminut mahtavana kannustimena. Mitään ei ole voinut siirtää myöhemmin ratkaistavaksi sillä verukkeella, ettei tiedä miten sen tekisi, vaan on ollut pakko tarttua toimeen saman tien.
Nyt voisi luulla, että takki on tyhjä ja etten vilkaisekaan nukkekoteihin seuraavaan puoleen vuoteen, mutta ei. Tilanne on täysin päinvastainen! Oon ihan intoa täynnä ja päässä jyllää aivomyrskynä ideoita! Sormet syyhyää päästä seuraavan nukkisprojektin kimppuun. Vähän oon jo jotain näperrellytkin. Tuli melkein vieroitusoireita, kun vein Rauhamaan Tampereelle.
Mutta hei! Se näyttely on aivan huikea!
Siellä on ihan uskomattomia taloja näytillä. Itse olen vieläkin ihan mykistynyt näyttelyyn osallistuneiden nukkisharrastajien taituruudesta ja kekseliäisyydestä. Rintamamiestalojen lisäksi on myös kolme isoa kerrostaloa, joissa yksistään on valtavasti katsottavaa. Aivan lumoava on myös näyttelyyn rakennettu satumaa. Maria Malmström on tuonut nähtäville tekemänsä Onnelin ja Annelin nukkekodin, Vaaksanheimolaisten uuden metsäkodin ja auton, joita käytettiin Onnelin ja Annelin Talvi -elokuvan kuvauksissa. Näyttelyyn tullessa kannattaa kiinnittää huomiota myös sisääntuloaulan ikkunavitriineihin, joissa on esillä mm. Elina Kallin hengästyttävän pieni 1:48 -mittakaavassa oleva Hotêl Jadis.

Here it is! It's finally ready!
I didn't get much sleep before the exhibition opening because I had to make some last minute details to the house. (At the final night before I took the house to Tampere I managed to sleep about two hours). And still, there are many details missing.
I would've wanted to make so much more tiny things into the house. I just ran out of time. I'm still very pleased how the house turned out. I think it looks finished and the overall appearance gives the sense of the atmosphere in our own home (although, the mini house is MUCH cleaner than ours). I don't think that anyone else other than me is bothered by the missing details.
Building this house has been a huge and wonderful process. I've learned loads of new things just by doing. And I've got lots of confidence and courage. The fact that there was a deadline made me outdo myself. I couldn't pass anything thinking I would solve that problem later. I had to tackle every problem right that minute they occurred.
Now you might think I've given my all and that there's nothing left and I'm not gonna even look at the dollhouses for the next six months. But no! It's the exact opposite! I'm bursting with enthusiasm and there are storms of ideas rumbling in my head. I can't wait to tackle the next dollhouse project. I've already been tinkering with a little something. I almost got withdrawal symptoms when I took the Peaceland to Tampere.
I must say! The exhibition is awesome! There are just unbelievable houses at the show. I myself am still overwhelmed by the expertise and the ingenuity of the dollhouse enthusiasts who have participated in the exhibition. In addition to these Front man houses there are three big apartment buildings which alone are a lot to look at.
Also there is an enchanting imaginary world with a little magic in it. Maria Malmström has brought a dollhouse, car and a Family McTiny's forest house that she made for the movie "Jill and Joy's Winter" for the show. When you are entering the exhibition you should pay attention to the hall windows. Among other things there is Elina Kallis' breathtakingly small 1:48 scale Hotêl Jadis.
I warmly recommend this exhibition to everyone!

Yläkerrassa on lisää leluja levällään. Joukossa on myös pienimmän lempilelu kaivinkone eli "Konkko".
Isommilla pojilla on Minecraft kesken. Sängytkin ovat jääneet taas petaamatta.

Trampoliini sai meillä aikaan ilahtuneita huudahduksia. Mun mielestä tää on yhtä kamala minikoossa, kuin oikeassa elämässäkin. :D Kukat ja Pallotuija ovat myös itse tehtyjä.
Boys were delighted when I made this trampoline. I think that it's just as eyesore in mini-size than it's in real life. :D
